Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision for LMSW clinicians pursuing licensure in Texas, as well as consultation for those who are not seeking licensure but want a deeper, relational way of thinking about their clinical work.

Supervision is grounded in a contemporary analytic and relational framework, with close attention to the therapeutic relationship, emotional process, and the meaning of clinical encounters. We focus not only on what happens in sessions, but on how the work is experienced—by your clients and by you.

For those working toward licensure, supervision provides a structured and supportive space that meets Texas requirements while also emphasizing clinical thinking, relational attunement, and ethical practice. Case material is explored with attention to transference and countertransference, patterns of relating, enactments, boundaries, and the emotional life of the work. The goal is not to impose technique, but to help you develop your own clinical judgment and voice over time.

For clinicians seeking consultation rather than licensure, the work offers a reflective space to think more deeply about complex cases, impasses, professional transitions, and the emotional demands of practice. Consultation is collaborative and exploratory, shaped by your questions and interests, and grounded in curiosity rather than evaluation.
